~ Rhonda and Todd's Trip to Maui

The entry to our upper floor unit sat atop a beautiful, curved staircase constructed of stone and stainless steel. When we opened the door we were immediately struck by the bright, open layout and awesome views. The entire ocean-facing wall was glass from floor to ceiling with a view of the lawn, palm trees and the blue-green ocean. Even better, the glass wall was a series of folding doors that opened onto the large lanai (deck). The sunset views were spectacular, so much so, that other area residents would congregate on the beach every evening just to watch the sun disappear below the ocean horizon. Enjoying the sunset view from our lanai became our evening tradition; it was accompanied by the sound of someone sounding a conch shell as the sun hit the horizon.

The unit itself was beautifully decorated. It had granite countertops, high-end appliances, etched glass windows and doors, spacious showers with multiple heads and temperature control, large and comfortable beds, hardwood and tile flooring, travertine accents.... gorgeous! We wanted for nothing.

We were impressed with Maui, and our holiday there was even better than expected. We explored from Honolua Bay at the northwest tip of the island, to Makena Beach, aka Big Beach. We walked many of the glorious sand beaches, enjoyed oceanside dining at sunset, visited impressive shopping malls, played at two of Maui’s golf courses and experienced a few of its snorkeling spots.

Our stay at the Kihei property was truly a first class experience and a wonderful introduction to the island paradise of Maui. We plan to return to this island for another vacation!
