If the guest plans to travel before they have accumulated enough points for their stay, they can purchase points. The cost (cents per point) fluctuates as a function of the overall points in the iTravex system -
No Other Fees Exist
Hosts should never incur any out of pocket expenses and may request that their prospective guest cover cleaning or other fees (i.e. pool heat, use of private car, access to fitness club, linen services, utilities, private chefs and/or staff, resort or property manager fees, fuel for charter boats).
Some hosts may request a refundable damage deposit.
The guest is required to pay the reservation fee to iTravex, not the host.
There are no set-up fees or annual fees charged to iTravex Members.
Any cleaning/other fees requested by hosts should be negotiated and communicated between the parties during the inquiry stage via the dialog box.
You only pay the reservation fee after you have accepted and completed the reservations (i.e. after a mutual agreement is reached between the host and guest via the dialog system).
The reservation fee is paid to iTravex by the guest, through a secured on-line form.
iTravex accepts payment of the Reservation Fee by Visa or Mastercard in $USD.
